My Writing: Publications
						Fiction, Poetry, and Creative Nonfiction

Like many who edit others, I write too. Below is a list of my published creative work, primarily literary fiction and poetry. I am available to edit and provide feedback on short stories (literary fiction, horror), essays, and memoir. As a former reader for both a small press and a literary magazine, I understand what editors are looking for and can help you refine your work and make it ready for submission.

						Other Creative Work

					Photography:
- Photo, "Book Barn." Non/fictioN exhibit on books in architecture, Moscow Book Fair, 2012.

Screenwriting Awards/Recognition:
- WAY DOWN ISLAND. Inter-generational family drama set in Martha’s Vineyard. Semi-finalist, Chesterfield Film Company Writer’s Film Project fellowship competition. (Unproduced)
 - DEERS! Broadly comedic eco-horror comedy script. Second Rounder, Austin Film Festival (sci-fi and adult/family categories); Top 10%, Nicholl Fellowship. (Unproduced)
 - SIMI VALLEY (co-written). One-hour dramedy TV pilot. Winner, ATalent Scout Management original pilot TV writing competition. (Unproduced)

Short Films:
- “The Demon Doily” – Short film about a bad romance. < $500 budget (over 5,700 views on YouTube; 91% Funny on FunnyOrDie.com). Sequel script and feature-length script available. I can’t shake this notion that all those sweet little doilies at vintage stores and flea markets are somehow demonic. The feature-length script is a comedic/supernatural take on romance, “women’s work,” and the hidden power of crochet circles.
