Writing Coaching

Most writers who need help with a project fall into the gray area between developmental editing and ghostwriting. You may need hands-on-guidance or someone to help you brainstorm, but you don’t want someone to write your book for you.

You may have an idea, an outline, or a rough draft. Maybe all you have is a premise. You know you could finish your writing project on your own–eventually, someday–but you’d like to speed up the process.

What you need is someone to keep you accountable to your goals.

Writing coaching can give you that extra boost. Through a combination of deadlined assignments, phone or email conversations to brainstorm, and feedback, you and I will work together to “advance the ball,” ensuring that you make progress on your goal.

Many clients opt for writing coaching instead of ghostwriting or book/script doctoring because it’s less expensive and more flexible. Contracts can be short-term and you can pay-as-you-go instead of committing to a long term arrangement.

You can stop coaching whenever you want, but when you do, you’ll still have more material–more polished material–than you did when you started. You’ll also have the satisfaction of knowing that you did all the creative work yourself–all you needed was a manager to keep you on task.
